Digital exhibition recreates Palace Museum's Qianlong Garden

An immersive light-and-shadow exhibition devoted to the Qianlong Garden of the Palace Museum opened at the National Library of China in Beijing on July 9 and will run through Dec. 6.

An architectural model of the Qianlong Garden, made using traditional Qing dynasty (1644-1911) paper-modeling techniques, is displayed at the National Library of China in Beijing, July 22, 2026.
