A grassland in the sky

Yurts and horses dot the scenery along one of the resort's streams. August is the peak month for visitors at Narat resort. Located in the Tianshan Mountains in Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the resort is home to a picturesque alpine meadow, as well as breathtaking peaks, spruce forests and clear streams.
